Registration Details

We use the issue tickets of the GitHub repository dedicated to project discussions and general question for project registration.

So to register a project, please 'file an issue', in other words open a new issue ticket at issue tickets containing

  • short paragraph (or bulleted list) with all project member names, netids and github accounts

  • a paragraph or two describing the project idea and plan

    • what is it your team wants to do?
    • what is your timeline and what to plan to achieve by when?
    • what is the source of data (if empirical work is done)?
    • what is your 'technology stack' for this?

We need your netid so that your project can be linked back to you, and your GitHub account to give team member read/write access.

We reserve the right to reject unsuitable projects. But if your project is approved a repository will be created.

Deadlines are listed on the project overview page. The end of the spring break (work week), i.e. the Friday of Spring Break, is the final date for registratiom. Reading Day is when final projects are due and the repositories are snapshotted for marking.
